I had a wonderful time working with Akilah on this photo shoot! I’ve tried yoga a handful of times, although after photographing Akilah - she made me want to jump right back into the practice. While her career started in the field of law, she left her desk-job to pursue a new path. It was another fabulous photo shoot with Kate Kayaian, although this time - we were at the Hamilton Princess Resort! Captured mainly inside the Hamilton Princess, Kate’s images features some iconic Click “here” to view my initial session with her at Rosewood Bermuda; this photo shoot focused on her professional career as a celist.
When Kate of Petit Peony first reached out about conducting a photoshoot at Rosewood - I knew the outfits would be precious! Petit Peony - born in Vermont and now based out of Massachusetts - has a unique story behind it. Kate launched her business in 2014 and her line of clothing is now sold in boutique stores all across the USA, such as Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, JCrew, Bergdorf Goodman, and Maisonette. Kate - the CEO, designer, and overall amazing mother - says that her designs are inspired by playing with her kids. We got some great shots of Kate’s kids - who are also the main models for the line - on this day. My favourite images were the “outtakes”, where the kids were just being kids.

I love working with other artists and photographers! When we got a phone call from Paul Havel asking to come aboard my husband Jim’s boat, Troubadour, with his girlfriend, Jackie Greaney - we were super excited! Both Paul and Jackie are content photographers and influencers based out of the great state of Maine - my old stompling ground. How could we refuse?
…and during the charter, we made lifelong friends! We can’t wait for Jackie & Paul to come back to Bermuda or better yet - to see them again in Maine!
