Wedding: Joanna & Alec - Elbow Beach, Bermuda

"I am my beloved, and my beloved is mine."  Special congrats to Joanna and Alec who were married October 29th at Elbow Beach Resort in Bermuda!  The couple flew down from New York City with 75 of their closest family members and friends.  Joanna and her bridesmaids got ready at the Caprice Cottage; an exclusive suite on the property with a gorgeous view of the ocean!  After the hair and make-up were done, Flowers by GIMI delivered the bridal bouquets right to the door!

With the "Getting Ready" preparation complete, it was time for the Ketubah Signing!  Joanna, Alec, their Rabbi, and family members gathered at the Caprice Cottage and began the ceremony.

With a stunning view of the ocean in the background, the Bird of Paradise Suite at Elbow Beach was set up with seating for 75 guests.  The couples' parents and bridal party escorted Joanna and Alec down the aisle to the Chuppah, which was made of the bride and groom’s grandparents' prayer shawls.  The Blessing of the Betrothal was said, the rings were exchanged, the Ketubah was read to the guests, the Seven Blessings were given, and last but not least, the glass was broken!

The cocktail hour kicked off with family portraits in the lawn and was followed by a gorgeous reception at Cafe Lido!  As the couple entered the reception area, "Hava Nagila" began to play and the couple was hoisted into the air for The Hora!  From the dress to the flowers to the ceremony to the reception to the dancing – everything was fabulous!   As a photographer, I could not have asked for a more beautiful event to photograph!  Mazel Tov to the newlyweds!
